Meet The Students!

 

 

Jordyn Watson  is a senior at Madison Consolidated High School. In addition to being a mentor in the Digital Leadership course, she is also the varsity captain of the girls’ soccer team, treasurer of the Mayor’s Youth Council, a member of the Thespian Society, the National Honors Society, and has dabbled in various other clubs and activities in her high school career. She has taken many AP courses including AP German, AP Calculus, and AP Literature. With her strong academic background, she plans to attend an out-of-state university next fall and major in International Studies.
Benjamin Cutshall is a senior at MCHS, and is a Digital Leadership student. He has played tennis ever since sophomore year, and he plans on playing it long after he graduates. Ben loves technology, and has been a part of the Technology Student Support Class ever since it first came to the high school. In the future, Benjamin plans on going to Johnson University and a technical college nearby in order to fulfill his passion of working as a technology educator/trainer for either a business corporation, school, or company.  

 

Tristan Kelsey is a junior at Madison Consolidated High School. After being homeschooled for 8 years, Tristan skipped a grade and signed up for public school. Tristan likes well prepared dinners and short walks to specific points on the beach. The college credit classes Tristan is currently enrolled in are AP art history, Spanish 3 (dual credit), and AP BC Calculus. Tristan is a member of the Thespian society and the Madison High School soccer team. Tristan’s favorite pastime is playing board games with friends (and by boardgames he means Summoner Wars, Nothing Personal, etc. NOT monopoly.) Tristan hopes to go to college for business and graphic design, with voice acting and boardgame design as possible secondary careers.

 

Taylor Strouse Taylor Strouse is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School and a student in the Digital Leadership class. Taylor is currently enrolled in two college credit classes; AP World History and Spanish 101. Taylor spends her free time reading and playing soccer on the Madison Lady Cubs soccer team. Although Taylor is not completely sure what she wants to do after high school, she is sure that she wants to attend a good college and study something along the lines of science or police-work. She hopes that her advancements in technology that come from a class like Digital Leadership and her academic success will help her to have almost any college open to her.   

 

Cameron Pimlott is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, Indiana! He is a part of the Digital Leadership class. Cameron is in a college credit class and in two honors classes. Wowza! He takes band and plays the trombone! Super neat! Cameron participates in soccer and track. Cameron spends his free time playing video games, soccer, and hanging out with his friends! How exciting! Other things he enjoys are watching football, playing with his dogs, and fishing! Sounds like a "reel" cool dude! He plans to use technology in his line of work in whatever way possible. Cameron thinks technology is a growing influence in the world and should be treated as such! He also likes long walks on the beach and playing with puppies, how adorable!

 

Casey Williams is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School. He is an active member of the band and theatre programs. Casey has an interest in music, and is currently pursuing learning the piano. He loves to sing and play his baritone saxophone, and Casey plans to major in musical theatre or counseling when he goes to college. He would like to attend college at Boston University after high school. Casey is currently enrolled in AP World History and plans to take many more AP courses in the future. He first witnessed technology at work at his father’s office, where his father works as a paramedic. All of the flashing lights and loud noises intrigued Casey, and he has been hooked ever since.

 

Emma Staicer is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School. She is enrolled in all honors classes including one AP and one dual credit class. Emma is also a part of the Digital Leadership class and is enrolled in the Fine Arts Academy at MCHS under music and voluntary. Her joy for music has led her, at different points in her life, to play the piano, guitar, violin, clarinet, and currently the euphonium. This year Emma is excited to help in the school’s theatrical productions with sound and lights. At the moment Emma is a manager of the Madison Lady Cubs volleyball team and also plays varsity girls tennis for the school. Emma is an avid fan of art and loves taking art classes. She one day hopes to major in something to do with the arts.

 

Max Gibson is a sophomore at MCHS. He is an active outdoorsman and enjoys racing. Max has 1 AP class and 2 honors. He is a member of the band and plays percussion. You can find Max often on the trails riding his mountain bike fast through the woods. On the weekends he enjoys target practice and working on cars with his dad.  Max has found technology useful in researching up-to-date information over his hobbies.  His interest in technology has lead to an employment opportunity with the school system.

 

Aleah Cutshall is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School. She is a student in the Digital Leadership class. She is a member of the Thespian Society, participated in tennis, soccer, and keeps up a high GPA. Aleah loves the use of technology, but also loves going outside, playing piano, and singing. Incorporating technology daily to enhance learning and ease of access in a real-world environment is something Aleah loves learning about. In the future Aleah plans to attend college but is unsure what her major will be.
Haley Jansen is a sophomore from Madison Consolidated High School. Surrounded by technology all her life, and whose relatives work in the technology departments of the school system, she was practically genetically born to wanting to excel in Technology. In line with that, she has danced for 8 years, has done archery for 3 years, and joined the student technology team at Madison Consolidated Junior High School when she was in 8th grade. She has presented at her school’s conference, state technology conferences, a national conference that My Big Campus held, and a state conference called HECC all in the year 2014. She loves to write and read books, and watch a good horror movie. Haley also makes videos for Digital Leadership, and has done it as a hobby ever since she was 8.  Her plans are to get a degree in Cinematography, or become a Technology Training Specialist.

 

Chase Icenogle is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School. He became a digital leader through his love of technology. He received his first computer when he was six years old, which sparked his interest in technology. In addition to computers, he is in marching band, volunteers as a junior staff member at the community public library, and contributes to various school functions. He plans on attending to attend IU Bloomington for a major in Computer Sciences.

 

 

Hadassah Harris is a sophomore from Madison Consolidated High School. She was born and raised in historic Madison, Indiana. Her passions in general are about her love for music, technology, leadership, and sports. Her love of technology first began when she started to fidget around with the microphones and musical electronics in a small coffee shop called the Chord soon later she joined the Student Technology team that was offered her eighth grade year in Junior High. She is currently participating in her school’s Advanced Choir with doing state solo competitions on the side, Digital Leadership, Team-Lead and lastly Soccer. While obtaining these extracurricular activities she also is in all Honors classes and one AP class.  As a Digital Leadership Team Member she has presented at two state conferences, and one national conference! She is still unsure what her major or her life goals will be after high school, but she has ambitions to travel the world and experience many new things!

 

Conner Richmond is a sophomore at Madison Consolidated High School. He has attended the Madison Consolidated School System his whole life. Conner is a huge advocate for technology in the classroom. He started to use computers at the ripe age of two and has continued every day since. He currently plays tennis for the high school and is in the band; he plays trombone. He is currently in 3 college credit classes: Spanish 101, PLTW POE, and AP World History. Conner loves to make YouTube videos and play video games. In the future, he hopes to attend a college in Indiana for Engineering. He also hopes to have a job in technology where he can be his own boss.
