One of the places MCS Digital Leadership visited was the Google company. They were shown the unique advancements of the campus, as well as the store and some of it's well known points.
The Digital Leaders have fun playing in the beach in San Francisco.

Trip To California
Part of the grant the Digital Leaders got from the Indiana Department of Education was used for a trip to California. The Students and Teachers explored the wide field of technology. They visited many known companies such as Google, Apple, Insructables, Lightspeed, and the Walt Disney Company. As part of the trip, the students also went sight-seeing, shopping, and explored the beautiful "Golden State."

Digital Leaders Hadassah Harris (Left) and Haley Jansen (Right) spoke at My Big Campus's Annual Conference held in Austin Texas.
One of the projects the MCS Digital Leaders did their first year of the class, was being one of the pilot schools using My Big Campus's new project, the "Bob Squad."

Presenting In Austin
Digital Leaders Haley Jansen and Hadassah Harris traveled to Austin, Texas to speak at My Big Campus's Annual Conference. The Two present 3 times for 45 minutes, 2 times for 10 minutes, and 1 time for 3 minutes.
The two enjoyed presenting, meeting other to inform them about their class, and exploring Texas.
A part from being in the Confrence, the two were asked to present at Indiana's HECC (Hossiers Education Computer Cordinators) conference in 2014.

The Superintendent of Indiana send the class and teachers a congratulations on winning the award.
The Digital Leaders take a trip to visit the White House.
The class was announce that they have won the award by being put on their website as their 2014 winners.

SETDA
SETDA (State Educational Technology Directors Association) held a contest for all the states of the country for their "Student Voices" award. Each state participating enters one class out of all the schools in their state, to show how they used technology to help their school and community. Indiana choose the MCS Digital Leadership class to be entered into the contest. The Digital Leaders travel to Washington D.C. to accept the award.
